Jaguars at Chargers unfold, odds, picks: Expert predictions for Week 3 game
The Jacksonville Jaguars and Los Angeles Chargers entered this season with two very different levels of expectation. The Chargers should be in a playoffs-or-bust mindset and should be eyeing the Super Bowl given the presence of quarterback Justin Herbert. The Jaguars? Just try to look like a competent NFL team after last year’s Urban Meyer debacle. So it is not surprising that the Chargers are more than a touchdown favorite for Sunday’s game.
Kickoff is at 4:05 p.m. ET from SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.
The thing about the Jaguars though, is that they actually have looked like a competent NFL team after losing a close – and winnable – game in Washington and then completely dominating Indianapolis on Sunday. Trevor Lawrence seems to be progressing and is coming off of a strong Week 2 performance against the Colts, and they no longer look like a total pushover.
