Member of Parliament for Chittagong-13 (Anowara-Karnaphuli) constituency Saifuzzaman Chowdhury said that no dual rule will work in his area. He will give direction to the administration of this area.

After Wasika Ayesha Khan, the reserved woman MP in the new cabinet, became the Minister of State for Finance, the separate polarization of Awami League politics in Anwara-Karnaphuli constituency is evident. Although Saifuzzaman Chowdhury did not directly mention anyone's name, the concerned people believe that he gave this statement to the Minister of State for Finance and his followers.

This former land minister said, 'It is not my responsibility to see what happened and who got which position. I want to say clearly, constitutionally I am an elected representative, there will be no dual rule in my area. I will guide the administration of this area. If any political program is to be held in the area, the organizers have to take permission from the administration a week in advance. No assembly will be allowed without permission.'

He said these things while distributing tins and cash to 35 families affected by the fire on Friday afternoon. The video of his speech has gone viral on social media. Anwara upazila administration organized this event.

Saifuzzaman Chowdhury also said, 'I am a representative elected by the direct vote of the people. It is my responsibility to see how to keep the people at peace. I once kept those involved in drug trade and land robbery away from politics. Those miscreants are back in the field again. They should be careful so that they don't do any misdeeds.'

Wasika Ayesha Khan spoke at a reception in Karnaphuli upazila on March 7 and an exchange meeting at Parki in Anwara upazila on March 23. He said in a meeting, 'There is no end in politics. It will begin where it ended. I will proceed with the deprived leaders and workers of Anwara-Karnaphuli.'
